a pictureless frame

an in-progress letter for an in-trouble relationship.

Me (KIRU) wearing one-of-a-kind Organic Decline for New York Fashion Week

tell me you love me…
then show me the truth is just the same.

no, revealing your hand to the world will do nothing but put us to shame.

here — let me explain. i’m hoping in clarity, we’ll build a bridge over pain (pain)

or maybe roof under rain,
but i’d go through hell to escape the mundane.

it’s funny how you’d do the same, unless when you said it back then, you was playin’…

i cue up the memory, i don’t do hennessy, cocaine or gas over flames.

i look so good, it’s insane.
but i never do it in vain.

and we don’t do government names, yet you’re closer to me than the blood in my veins.

i hope that you hear what i’m saying.
i hope this is clearly conveyed.
i open my eyes, if i see things correctly, your love is a pictureless frame.

you wanna pretend you’re excited,
but deep in your heart you’re afraid.
afraid that one day i’ll forget you..
or suddenly, silently, leave.
