There’s something unique about the feeling you’ve left us with.
Whether we knew you well or not at all.
Thank you for your light.

I hope one day to understand.
Maybe on some level of consciousness or spirituality.
Until then I hope we will strive to learn.

Thank you for the peace you’ve shown us.
Thank you for the grace, the beauty, the grit.
Thank you for helping me to keep things in perspective.

I pray that your family is fitted with comfort.
That their grief be coupled with strength and clarity.
I pray for your mother in particular.
