WEEK 06–2022: SPREAD LOVE
It’s been a while since I’ve posted my regular stories on Medium, and there are a couple of reasons for that. One of the reasons I stopped posting is probably something a lot of bloggers on this platform can relate to — life got in the way. If only you had seen my schedule! LOL. The other reason I stopped blogging after last Monday was because I wanted to get through the stories I had been saving to my bookmarks over the last several weeks.
When I first started using Medium as an active user about two or three months ago, I made a mental note to keep my general bookmark list either at or below 35 stories. Why 35? I honestly don’t know, but of course things did not go according to plan because if they had, then I probably wouldn’t have gone missing as a blogger for the last ten days or so.
I literally had more than 500 stories in my general bookmark list. FIVE HUNDRED. I remember seeing this number at 360 and thinking to myself “I’d better start reading these articles.” Then once it got to 465 I started telling myself to “stop bookmarking new stories.” But it’s okay y’all. Over the last ten days, I went through the entire list of stories, read through many, responded to most of what I read, and discarded all the rest.
