This Tool Has Skyrocketed My Productivity

I have never read more in a single day.

As a writer on Medium, I think it’s pretty important to read the stories that other people are publishing to the platform. In fact, I think it’s just as important (and sometimes even more) to read the works of others as it is to produce and publish your own content.

One of the problems I’ve faced since becoming an active member of Medium is a problem many of us face on all social media platforms — bookmarking things that we never end up reading/watching/doing or otherwise appreciating. This actually became such a big problem for me about a month ago that I decided to stop writing my own content until I had taken the time to catch up on the almost 600 stories I had saved to my bookmarks over a relatively short period of time.

Although I did wind up removing some stories based on the fact that they were too similar to posts I had already read, I spent AN ENTIRE WEEK reading through the materials saved to my general collection of bookmarks, and I was able to crack that number down to a mere five posts saved. As of this writing, I am at eight articles in my general bookmarks, and that’s just because I’ve added some new ones since reading the ones that were previously there.
