UNCOVERING BIASES TO BUILD BETTER RELATIONSHIPS

Earlier this week, I wrote about an affirmation that encouraged the embrace of diverse perspectives as a way of learning in life. As I pondered what the affirmation itself meant to me, I started to think about my relationships with those around me, and the positive and negative impact of our perspectives and the ways in which we choose to share them. All of this reflecting led me to consider the role of biases in various relationships, and how putting in the work to better manage these perspectives could have strong implications for an improved trajectory of each relationship.
